around here is a large time-based work i mage for myself over several years begun in 2004 it was completed in 2007 and finally adjusted in 2009 and first show in the exhibition 10 days at the laundry in winchester in 2010, see ten days at the laundry

8 projectors and a square of voile screens

Around Here. 2007. An eight-projector slide dissolve work the piece based on a square of triple layered screens that the audience can either be inside or outside to view this totally encompassing work. The projected images are almost entirely made of black and white line drawings and at times include black and white photographs. In the developing sequence the viewer journeys through a sequence of scenes from underwater to nets, to abstract landscapes. Made in 2007. 25 minutes in duration.
